Job DescriptionWe're seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Liverpool office. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading project delivery, managing costs, and interacting with clients to ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly results.
- Provide expert cost management services, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues across our Liverpool and Manchester offices to contribute to the collective success of our team.
- Proven expertise as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, with a successful track record of managing projects in a consultancy setting.
- Industry knowledge of various sectors within Real Estate, including museums, residential, life sciences, infrastructure, and more.
- Leadership skills, with the ability to lead projects and guide teams towards successful outcomes.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, and membership in a relevant professional body (RICS or equivalent).
- Prestigious projects that shape Liverpool's skyline and contribute to the city's future.
- Diverse sectors, including museums, defence, residential, life sciences, infrastructure, master planning, industrial, health, decarbonisation retrofits, marine, commercial offices, hotels, demolition, public realm, and active travel corridors.
- A prime location in the vibrant Princes Dock, with stunning views of the River Mersey and a stone's throw from Liverpool's bustling city centre.
- Varied project scales, ranging from £0.5M to £5B, providing a broad spectrum of scale and opportunities for growth.
- A supportive team of 10-12 professionals in Liverpool, backed by our wider QS team of around 20 talented individuals.
- Comprehensive services, including Cost Management, Employer's Agent, Fund Monitoring, and general commercial management for clients across both public and private sectors.
