Assistant Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our team at CRC Recruitment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Media control: This will include grading of shot and other media - and procedures associated with control of media.
  • Changing shot supplies in machines (emptying, cleaning down, replacing media) as dictated by production schedule.
  • Undertake routine machine maintenance (e.g replacement screen protectors, gloves, seals, nozzles etc.)
  • Undertake routine strip down, clean, inspect of machines in accordance with Maintenance procedures.
Main Objectives:

To assist the Maintenance Manager to undertake maintenance tasks necessary. This will range from routine safety checks, to regular scheduled maintenance of machines and assisting with development projects within the factory.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a specialist engineering business. A practical aptitude and a positive, can-do approach are key; along with a general diligent approach, integrity and a willingness to learn. Experience of working within an engineering environment and/or previous experience of maintenance is not essential as full training will be given.
