About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Porter to join our culinary team at Lexington Catering. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the kitchen area is always clean, well-presented, and well-stocked.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the correct cleaning materials are used to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Wear safety glasses, masks, gauntlets, and any other necessary clothing to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to all policies and procedural requirements to promote a professional and forward-thinking approach.
- Follow COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Remove rubbish as and when required to maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
Working Pattern
This role is term-time only, Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 2:30pm.
Requirements
- Pride in delivering quality customer service.
- Ability to work as part of a team and cooperate with colleagues.
- Previous catering experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude.
