Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team at VIQU Limited. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines and architectures on the Azure Cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop ETL data pipelines with Azure Data ETL tools such as Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Write Python/Pyspark scripts and T-SQL for data management and lakehouse.
  • Lead migrations from on-premises SQL Server to Azure SQL Server.
  • Build out dashboards to meet stakeholder requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience moving large complex data sets from on-prem SQL Server to Azure Cloud.
  • Ability to script in Python/Pyspark.
  • Completed data migration ETL projects to migrate data to new replacement systems.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Warehousing.
  • Strong attitude, confident sharing knowledge and ability to communicate with cross-functional teams.
