We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team in East Dunbartonshire, covering the Bearsden and Milngavie areas.
About the RoleThis part-time role involves supporting individuals in supported accommodation with daily living skills, including personal care, managing medication, domestic tasks, and promoting social and community inclusion.
Key Responsibilities- Support service users with daily living skills, promoting independence and choice
- Assist with personal care, medication management, and domestic tasks
- Encourage social and community inclusion, facilitating access to local resources and activities
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality care and support
We are looking for a candidate with a caring and empathetic nature, who is able to work independently and as part of a team. A driver is preferred, but not essential. Experience of supporting individuals with additional needs is desirable, but training will be provided.
Benefits- A minimum of 28 days paid holiday per year, including bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time staff)
- Accredited training to develop your skills and knowledge
- An employer contributory pension scheme
- Mileage paid at 35p per mile, up to 10,000 miles per year
