We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Engagement Manager to join our team at Housr. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for managing our University Society partnerships, supervising University Team Leaders and Brand Reps, and coordinating events and promotional activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the student housing and tenancy management industry, as well as experience in event management, community engagement, and brand ambassador programs. You will be a creative thinker with a passion for innovative marketing tactics and strategies, and be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage University Society partnerships to build long-standing relationships and drive affinity with Housr.
- Supervise University Team Leaders and Brand Reps in our key cities to ensure high-quality representation of our brand around campus and student hubs.
- Manage Team Lead and Housr Reps timesheets and shift reporting, identifying any noteworthy performance and reporting back to Head of Marketing.
- Coordinate and record logistics for events and promotional activities, including managing suppliers for merchandise, print assets, free samples, and uniforms.
- Collaborate with our Social and Content Manager to brief Housr Reps on UGC video requirements for Housr's social channels, supporting in delivering these briefs where required.
- Develop and execute guerrilla marketing activities in student cities to create buzz and increase brand visibility.
- Amplify partnerships through creative strategies to maximise reach and impact within targeted communities.
- Strong understanding of the student housing and tenancy management industry.
- Experience in event management, community engagement, and brand ambassador programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a range of external stakeholders.
- Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment, with a passion for innovative marketing tactics and strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
