Contract Manager/Operations Manager

About the Role

Kenton Black Ltd is currently seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager or Operations Manager to join our team in the South Midlands region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for aiding the growth of our region and working on live projects, undertaking works that range in value from £5m – £20m.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts and projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong background in water infrastructure, with experience in managing contracts and projects in this sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
