We are seeking a skilled CHP Service Engineer to join our team of experts at Veolia. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine CHP engine servicing and maintenance within agreed timescales.
  • Fault find and diagnose issues with engine reliability and performance, with successful rectification and return to service of the unit.
  • Assist Customer Account Manager and Operational Team Leaders on all aspects of CHP maintenance.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all Veolia policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Be conversant with the use of hand tools, power tools, and test equipment required to carry out CHP servicing and repairs.
  • Have qualifications and/or experience on gas engine maintenance and the ability and desire to be trained.
  • Have sound knowledge in engineering practices and be conversant with the operation of CHP plant.
  • Be Gas Safe trained or willing to undertake training (paid by Veolia).
  • Undertake weekend (1 in 5) call-out duties as required by management.
  • You will ideally have a sound understanding of electrical fault finding and rectification.
  • As you'll be a part of a small team of engineers, team mentality is essential.
  • Full Driving licence.
