We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated ADHD Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary Neurodevelopment Service. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with young people, families, and professionals to provide specialist therapeutic interventions and support.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out comprehensive assessments of young people referred to the post diagnostic ADHD Pathway
- Work with an agreed caseload of young people, providing specialist therapeutic interventions and support
- Co-deliver workshops to groups of parents and professionals, promoting effective service user and multi-agency engagement
- Provide consultation and advice support to professionals in the community, ensuring high standards of patient care and record keeping
- Assist within the ADHD medication clinic, working collaboratively with the ADHD Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Manage and prioritize your own workload, reviewing it regularly with the ADHD Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Develop therapeutic relationships with young people and families, providing clinical interventions in challenging situations
