Key Responsibilities

  1. Transformation Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to our housing transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  2. Project Management: Manage the continuation of transformation projects, working closely with project management teams and external consultants.
  3. Team Leadership: Lead teams in Housing Regeneration, Refugee Resettlement, and Housing Strategy and Commissioning, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  5. Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation to improve affordability and quality of housing for residents, identifying opportunities for growth and development.

The Ideal Candidate

  1. Education and Qualifications: Degree in Housing Studies, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or related field.
  2. Experience and Skills: 5+ years in housing management, local government preferred, with proven experience in leading projects and managing budgets.
  3. Transformational Leadership: Proven track record in leading transformational projects and managing budgets, with a strong understanding of UK housing policies and project management principles.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficient in IT tools and data analysis, with a commitment to social inclusion, equality, and diversity.
