Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to provide administrative support to our medical office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and proficiency in medical software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Coordination
    • Organize and manage patient schedules, appointments, and files.
    • Coordinate patient communication and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Office Management
    • Oversee the maintenance of office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
    • Coordinate meetings, record minutes, and maintain accurate records.
  • Patient Communication
    • Respond to patient inquiries and provide assistance in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and type medical reports, letters, and other documents.
    • Update and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other administrative systems.
  • Confidentiality
    • Maintain the confidentiality of patient information and adhere to data protection policies.
Requirements
  • Recent experience in a medical secretarial role.
  • Excellent typing and word processing skills (RSA level 2).
  • Audio typing experience.
  • GCSE English grade C or equivalent.
