Exciting Opportunity:
A rewarding position has become available for a committed and skilled Childcare Practitioner to join a nursery environment. This role is offered on a full-time, temporary basis through a reputable supply agency.


Position Overview:
As a Childcare Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and secure atmosphere for children, ensuring their safety and addressing their individual requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a supportive and safe environment for children, focusing on their well-being.
  • Assist in delivering age-appropriate educational activities that promote the cognitive and social growth of the children.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of children's development, progress, and any significant occurrences, while adhering to confidentiality standards.

Health and Safety Standards:
Ensure compliance with rigorous health and safety protocols, maintaining a hazard-free nursery setting that supports the welfare of all children.


Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with the nursery team to provide exceptional childcare and foster a positive, inclusive work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare or an equivalent relevant credential.
  • Demonstrated experience in a nursery setting, showcasing a thorough understanding of childcare principles.
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Current enhanced DBS check and up-to-date safeguarding training.
