Job Title: Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Stafforce Managed Services. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and ensuring the efficient operation of our production line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve production targets and objectives
  • Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated tasks
  • Enforce all safety and quality processing procedures
  • Understand customer needs and ensure alignment with the needs/commitments of the business
  • Evaluate new employees and coach existing employees
  • Handle raw sliced bacon, respecting specifications for each customer
  • General production duties
  • General hygiene duties (clean as you go)
  • Stacking and palleting boxes and servicing the line with ingredients and packaging, in line with relevant SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and product specifications
  • Work within Good Manufacturing Practices - i.e.; safely, hygienically and through correct quality procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company policies

Requirements:

  • Ability to build, lead and motivate a skilled team able to meet objectives and agreed targets
  • Ability to optimise team performance and development
  • Inter-personal and communication skills coupled with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels within the business
  • Good IT skills
  • Analytical and numerical
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent attention to detail skills
