Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the club, including staff supervision and performance management.
  • Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
  • Drive commercial performance through effective sales and marketing strategies, working closely with the General Manager to achieve business objectives.
  • Deliver operational excellence by maintaining high standards of customer service, facilities, and equipment.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to set and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring the club's success and growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a management position within a leisure-related industry, preferably in a similar operational role.
  • Passionate about customer service and demonstrated leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams.
  • Qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor, with a strong understanding of fitness and wellness principles.
  • Experience in driving sales and coordinating local marketing activities, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a successful team.
  • Substantial experience as an Assistant Manager or Fitness Manager, with a strong understanding of business operations and management.
