About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sign Maker/Installer to join our team at Signs Express Dartford. As a key member of our Production department, you will be responsible for all production and installation aspects of the business, offering a varied and challenging role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of a wide range of signage, including trays, post and panel, acrylic signs, and more.
  • Sign making, working with various substrates such as di-bond, acrylics, metals, wood, vinyl, and Foamex, to a consistently high standard.
  • Day-to-day duties will include setting up files for vinyl cutting, preparation of vinyl graphics, and application to various substrates, including panels, vans, and cars.
  • Interpreting briefs accurately, with a great understanding of different signage and manufacturing techniques.
  • Printing, cutting, and laminating vinyl.
  • Ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are understood and followed to the highest level.
  • Providing outstanding customer service to our clients and others at all times.
Requirements
  • Fully trained in sign production, with a minimum of one year experience required.
  • Proficient in the application of vinyl onto various substrates, including vehicles.
  • Creative, imaginative, with the ability to work at speed, with the highest level of attention to detail.
  • A team player, but also a driven individual comfortable working alone.
  • Experienced in using vinyl plotters, large format printers, and laminators.
  • Experienced in signage installation on site.
  • CSCS accreditations are desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety working practices.
  • Excellent face-to-face communication skills.
