Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Supermarket Assistant. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers with their shopping, answering questions and providing product information as needed.
  • Restock shelves, maintain store displays, and ensure the store is clean and tidy at all times.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and card transactions.
  • Ability to lift and move stock as required.
