Locum Contract
A leading local authority in London is seeking an experienced Contracts Lawyer with expertise in construction contracts to join their team on a locum basis. The contract is for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension on a long-term rolling basis.
The successful Contracts Lawyer will be part of a well-established and collaborative team. Our client is looking for a seasoned Contracts Lawyer with experience in dealing with commercial contracts and construction contracts, such as JCT and NEC. The team handles a diverse range of work, including complex and high-value matters, offering the opportunity to manage an engaging and varied caseload.

To be considered for this locum Contracts Lawyer role, you must be a qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister, CILEx) with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Prior experience working in local government is beneficial, but candidates with relevant experience from other sectors will be considered.
Our client is open to hybrid working arrangements but also welcomes remote applicants.
The local authority aims to fill this locum Commercial and Construction Contracts Lawyer position as soon as possible, so applicants should be able to start immediately or within a few weeks' notice.
