About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Specialist Physiotherapist in the Community Health Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing proactive holistic care to adults 65+ living in the Borough of Barnet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive geriatric assessments and re-assessments of treatment programmes using evidence-based outcome measures and in accordance with professional guidelines.
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner, assessing and treating own caseload of patients/clients and maintaining professional documentation.
  • Supervise junior staff, rehabilitation assistants, physiotherapy students, and other support workers.
  • Support the operations of the team and contribute to the development of service initiatives.
Requirements
  • Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy and current HCPC registration.
  • Experience working with adults with complex conditions and multi-pathologies, including falls prevention and management.
  • Knowledge of role of Allied Health Professionals and interdisciplinary team working.
  • Ability to apply core physiotherapy skills across a range of clinical conditions within a client-centred, goal-setting framework.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills, with the ability to accurately report and feedback information to colleagues and others.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • Experience working in a community health setting, with a focus on ageing well and frailty.
  • Knowledge of research and audit processes, with the ability to contribute to service development projects.
