We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our team as a Pricing Optimization Specialist. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying advanced analytics models to enhance pricing strategies, improve customer value, and drive recommendation systems and demand forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance pricing models, including demand forecasting, price elasticity assessments, recommendation systems, and revenue optimization strategies.
- Deploy pricing and recommendation models into production for utilization by cross-functional analytical teams.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, translating their pricing and recommendation objectives into impactful data science products.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Python or R with strong SQL abilities, particularly in data manipulation for pricing and recommendation analysis.
- Excellent analytical and statistical skills, with hands-on experience in predictive modeling, pricing strategies, recommendation systems, and time series analysis.
- Understanding of the importance of data governance and maintaining high data quality standards in pricing and recommendation models.
- Curious about pricing and recommendation challenges, with the ability to extract maximum value from data science through effective storytelling, visual support, and efficient workload management using Jira/Confluence.
