Position Overview

James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Advisor to join our esteemed client, a Local Authority, on a temporary basis. This role focuses on Commercial Property Law and is expected to last for an initial period of three months, with the possibility of extension.

The successful candidate will be required to work full-time, with a negotiable hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee regeneration and development initiatives, which includes drafting essential documents such as development agreements, conditional sale agreements, complex leases, license agreements, and collateral warranties.
  • Provide expert advice on gap funding agreements, facilitate statutory school transfers, and oversee academy conversions.
  • Deliver comprehensive legal counsel regarding regeneration efforts, community asset management, and planning inquiries.
  • Assist with various corporate, constitutional, and administrative tasks to ensure adherence to statutory obligations and responsibilities.

Working Hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
