Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care to patients with respiratory problems in acute and clinic settings
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients with respiratory conditions
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of respiratory care pathways and protocols
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on respiratory care and management

Requirements

  • NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Respiratory course to postgraduate level
  • Experience of caring for patients with respiratory problems in acute and clinic settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

Qualification in Nurse PrescribingTeaching qualificationRespiratory diploma or degree levelExperience of managing patients using acute and community non-invasive ventilation

Language Skills
