Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our Accounting and Finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, providing expert financial advice, and leading a high-performing team of accountants.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Accounting and Finance department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide expert financial advice to senior management, developing and implementing robust financial strategies.
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of accountants, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to excel in their roles.
- Manage the preparation and publication of all financial statements, conducting regular financial analysis and producing reports.
- Engage with external auditors and manage audit processes, ensuring seamless compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- A professional accounting qualification, such as ACA or ACCA.
- Proven leadership experience within an Accounting and Finance department, with a strong track record of success.
- Expert knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes in the UK.
- Experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, with a strong analytical skillset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
What We Offer
