Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled 1st Line Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Peaple Talent. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st Line customer-facing and remote support to clients.
  • Offer internal IT support when required.
  • Manage helpdesk and incident management processes.
  • Configure and troubleshoot PC and server systems.
  • Configure and troubleshoot firewalls.
  • Perform daily system checks, including backup monitoring and reporting.
  • Deliver technical support to clients as required to meet service level agreements.
  • Maintain and update internal client documentation and logging time and activities.
  • Ensure client satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding incident progress and changes.
  • Evaluate and escalate issues that cannot be resolved within agreed service levels.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in the industry.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience working as an IT/Support Engineer in an MSP or ISP environment.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online expertise.
  • Microsoft Office 365 fundamentals, including standalone Office 365 and Azure Sync environments.
  • Remote Desktop Servers and Desktop Support experience.
  • Networking protocols, including TCP/IP.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience as a support engineer in a service environment, particularly with SMEs.
  • Experience in the tech or ISP sectors.
