Job Title: Reach Truck Driver - Temp-to-Perm

**Job Summary:**

First Choice Staff is recruiting on behalf of a leading freight forwarding and logistics company, seeking skilled Reach Truck Drivers to join the warehouse team on a Temp-to-Perm basis.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Operate reach trucks to move freight around the warehouse, ensuring goods are stored correctly and safely.
* Safely load and unload freight from trucks or containers, handling goods with care to prevent damage.
* Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by properly placing and scanning goods into the warehouse management system (WMS).
* Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards.
* Follow all company safety protocols and warehouse procedures, including conducting pre-operation checks on the reach truck.
* Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
* Accurately document all goods moved, received, or dispatched using handheld devices or warehouse management systems.

**Requirements:**

* Minimum 2 years of experience as a reach truck operator, preferably in a freight forwarding or logistics environment.
* Valid Reach truck certification is required.
* Aviation Security trained level Cargo Operative
* Checkable 5-year history and a clean DBS.
* Knowledge of freight handling and international shipping procedures.
* Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
