In 2007, AEM Limited became part of AMETEK Inc., a global leader in electronic instruments and electromechanical devices, as a unit within AMETEK MRO's Aerospace and Defense Division, recognized as a global provider of third-party MRO services to commercial, regional, and general aviation clients, as well as military, helicopter, and business jet markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Disassemble hydraulic and mechanical components into their individual subcomponents.
  • Conduct inspection duties, which include:
    • Interpreting technical documentation
    • Diagnosing faults
    • Identifying wear, damage, or corrosion in components
    • Utilizing precise calibrated measuring instruments
    • Completing and populating computer-generated documentation
  • Assemble various hydraulic and mechanical assemblies and components in preparation for final testing and inspection.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards in accordance with CAA, EASA, FAA, and company protocols.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required in relation to operations or business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Background in mechanical or hydraulic engineering.
  • Numerate and literate – minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English.
  • Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator (both written and verbal).
  • Well-organized and self-motivated.
