Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class 2 Driver to join our team at People Solutions Group. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for operating and driving various class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver HGV tyres across the North West region
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded, secured and unloaded properly
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Requirements

  • Hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence
  • Have a minimum of six months experience driving Class 2 vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
  • Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
  • Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Okay with manual handling of heavy goods
  • Physically fit

  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
