Installation Electrician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Installation Electrician to join our team at Apex Resource Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installations and modifications on site/facility projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical installation to drawing
  • Reading and understanding complex engineering drawings and schematics
  • Installation and modifications of cable trays, trunking and conduits
  • Installation and modification of power and data cables
  • Wiring of power and control cabinets and associated equipment
  • Troubleshooting electrical installation issues using root cause analysis and documenting resolution
  • Assisting PLC & Robot programmers to troubleshoot installation and early commissioning issues
  • Perform daily pre-inspection checklists on any plant equipment being used in their operation
Requirements:
  • Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical Installations qualifications
  • City and Guilds 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations
  • Jib registered
  • ECS/CSCS cards
  • Current IPAF 3a/3B
  • Previous, proven and demonstratable experience working on industrial electrical installation projects with a production or automotive environment
  • Equipped with own comprehensive tool kit for suitable tools for the role
