Job Overview

Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest for the position of Principal Package Equipment Engineer. This role is based in our Reading office and is focused on upcoming FEED projects, offered on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing data sheets for vendor packages, which include process packages, water treatment facilities, fired heaters, flares, and boilers.
  • Creating requisitions for inquiries regarding Long Lead Items.
  • Assessing and analyzing bids from equipment suppliers for Long Lead Items, along with preparing comprehensive bid evaluation reports.
  • Formulating budget inquiries to assist in cost estimation.
  • Providing expert support and guidance on matters related to package equipment.
Required Qualifications
  • Significant experience in a contracting environment, specifically with vendor packages on FEED and EPC projects within the oil and gas, refinery, and petrochemical sectors.
  • Adaptable mindset with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant API and ASME codes and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
