Job Description

Ltek Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our team. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for creating Fanuc CNC programs, liaising with the production office regarding manufacturing methods and tooling, designing fixtures and creating relevant drawings, and ensuring parts are finished and deburred in line with standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient CNC programs to meet production requirements.
  • Collaborate with the production office to optimize manufacturing processes and tooling.
  • Design and create fixtures and drawings to support production needs.
  • Ensure machine setups are completed in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain high-quality standards by complying with component quality requirements and 'First Off' process.
  • Manage machine maintenance requirements and complete daily logs.
  • Support quality department initiatives and corrective actions.
  • Participate in lean programs, such as 6S and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Adhere to company policies as directed by senior management.
Requirements:
  • Programming experience using Fanuc controls.
  • Extensive turning experience.
  • Knowledge of current machining methods and tooling.
  • Previous experience with Live tooling and multi-axis machines is an asset.
