About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced High Reach Forklift Mechanic to join our client's warehouse team in Bermuda. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of forklifts and other heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform condition monitoring, planned, and reactive maintenance of forklifts, with a focus on side loaders.
  • Complete ongoing maintenance, general diagnostics, and repair of trucks and other heavy equipment as required.
  • Diagnose faults and complete subsequent repairs, as well as perform safety inspections.
  • Assist with stocking, order preparation, and product restocking.
About the Company

Our client is a market leader in the Bermuda area, and due to increased demand, they are looking to expand their team with the addition of a Forklift Mechanic to look after their small fleet of eight forklifts.

Requirements
  • At least five years of relevant experience working with forklifts, HGVs, side loaders, or plant equipment, with strong experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.
  • Mechanical engineering experience and a solid understanding of warehouse health and safety protocols.
  • Formal equipment certifications are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
