Quantitative Developer - Commodities Desk

BlueCrest Capital Management is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Developer to join our Commodities Trading Desk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our quantitative analytics libraries, as well as collaborating with our traders and analysts to meet their pricing, risk, and market analysis tool requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain our core analytics libraries in C#, C++, and Python.
  • Collaborate with our traders and analysts to understand their requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs.
  • Work closely with our London teams to gather requirements and deliver enhancements to our core systems.
  • Review code changes to our core libraries before they are released globally.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in C# quantitative development in the financial industry.
  • Python experience in a front office environment, with a focus on web and data visualization libraries.
  • Commodities experience, including understanding of exchange and OTC contracts in gas, power, oil, and products.
  • Experience in C++ is a plus.
