Position Overview

Join E UK PLC as an Electrical Installation Technician and contribute to the energy transition towards net zero. This role offers a competitive salary of £42,300 based on a 40-hour work week, along with a branded company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our Solutions Installation team, you will:

  • Install a variety of energy solutions, including Electric Vehicle Chargers, Solar PV systems, Battery Storage, Heat Pump controls, and Smart Meters in residential settings.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service during each installation visit, ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
  • Work as a registered competent electrician, with opportunities to gain training in Smart Metering if not already certified.
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Electrical core skills to level 3 in installation, with relevant certifications such as City and Guilds 236 or equivalent.
  • BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations 18th Edition certification.
  • Inspection and testing certification to City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in domestic or commercial electrical installations.
  • A full, valid UK/EU driving license.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including CDM 2015, NRSWA, and the Electricity at Work Act.
  • Experience with Dual Fuel (gas & electricity) SMART metering and associated equipment.
  • An EUSR card demonstrating smart metering authorizations.
  • Familiarity with EV charger installations.
