Sales and Marketing Director

MacGregor Black is seeking a highly experienced Sales and Marketing Director to lead our consumer business to the next level of growth and success.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of scaling brands on Amazon and driving sales and profits through effective leadership and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of 6 direct reports and drive continuous improvement across all key processes.
- Maximise sales and profits through effective sales channel management and brand strategy.
- Develop strategic sales plans to deliver long-term, sustainable growth for the business.
- Ensure effective forecasting and stock management to drive efficiency.
- Identify and develop opportunities for new sales channels, retailers, product categories, and brands.
- Develop strategic relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Lead marketing activities with significant budget responsibilities.
- Develop reporting metrics to show ROI of advertising spend.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar leadership position in sales, digital marketing, or ecommerce.
- Experience working within consumer non-food and drink industries, preferably in a considered product purchase category.
- Strong understanding and proven track record of achieving growth across D2C and Amazon.
- Deep understanding of customers and trading experience is essential.
- In-depth understanding of how to measure, monitor, and motivate a Sales team.
- Experience of budgeting and costing, including financial planning, P&L, and ROI analysis.
- Lead by example approach with exemplary communication skills.
- Degree educated.
- Full, clean, current driving license with ability to travel.
