You will work collaboratively within a team setting, coordinating with audit and tax teams, as well as external auditors, to ensure the timely completion of assignments while meeting client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective communication with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries promptly.
- Prepare financial statements for medium-sized enterprises, including consolidated financial statements and Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) using the firm's designated software applications, with minimal review points.
- Develop business tax computations, incorporating adjustments for enhanced expenditures and loans to participators.
- Assist junior team members in completing assignments that are part of the consolidated financial statements.
- Adhere to established timelines agreed upon by the audit team, maintaining regular communication to ensure both internal and external deliverables are met.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within a practice environment.
- Qualified as CA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent (first-time passes preferred).
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications - Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards.
- Current awareness of changes in basic tax legislation.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and business tax compliance.
- Enthusiasm for acquiring new skills and supporting less experienced team members.
- Proactive attitude with keen attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
