Equip Outdoor Technologies UK Ltd, a company renowned for its expertise in the design and marketing of high-quality outdoor apparel and gear, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Warehouse Team. Our passionate and skilled workforce is committed to creating innovative products that meet the highest standards and are distributed globally. Equip Outdoor Technologies proudly manages two prominent outdoor brands, Rab and Lowe Alpine.
As a Seasonal Warehouse Staff member, you will be engaged in a fixed-term role focused on the preparation and dispatch of customer orders from our warehouse facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that priority orders are processed efficiently and dispatched in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and dispatch priority orders promptly
- Utilize in-house scanning technology for order picking and packing, ensuring timely dispatch
- Maintain accuracy in order picking to minimize errors
- Generate dispatch notes and invoices using the in-house computer system
- Conduct stock checks and inventory management as required
- Meet targets and performance standards set by the Warehouse Supervisor and Manager
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to learn and operate in-house computer and scanning systems
- Capability to follow instructions with precision
- Basic skills in numeracy, literacy, and computer usage
- Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to approximately 15kg
- Strong communication skills
- Capacity to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently
- Organized and methodical approach to tasks
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with picking and packing processes
- Experience with computer-based packing systems
- Knowledge of courier dispatch procedures
- Certification and competence in operating a Forklift Truck
