HGV Class 2 Driver Position

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's operation in Burton on Trent. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking multi-drop deliveries to stores across the UK, working Monday to Friday between 02:00 and 04:00. Full training will be provided, and all routes are pre-planned with safe systems of operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct safe vehicle checks
- Ensure loads are secured
- Move cages off the rear of the vehicle into store via tail lift and bring back any returns/recycles
- Drive the vehicle safely and within driver WTD & WTR with no infringement
- Wear uniform - blues/blacks
The average working week is 48 hours for this role, and the pay rate is £14.78 per hour or £16.56 including holiday pay. Immediate starts are available, and the role is suitable for drivers from Tamworth, Derby, Uttoxeter, and Burton on Trent.
