Senior OT Security Engineer

Location: Sheffield

Working Pattern: Hybrid

Salary: Up to £68,000 + benefits

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced OT Security Engineer to join our team in Sheffield. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our Industrial Automation and Control Systems from design to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our Head of Cyber Security to develop and implement secure design principles for our OT systems.
  • Provide expert advice on OT security concepts and best practices to external project teams.
  • Work closely with engineers to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with engineering teams to ensure a solution-focused approach to OT security.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest OT security standards and guidelines, including IEC62443.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in OT security, with a strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Knowledge of OT security standards and guidelines, including IEC62443.
