About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and creative Activities Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and varied activities to our residents, ensuring they can enjoy a fulfilling and motivational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an activities program that caters to the diverse interests and needs of our residents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver social activities, outings, and events
  • Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement

About You

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, empathetic, and has a genuine interest in supporting our residents. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and residents. A creative and flexible approach to work is essential, as is a commitment to delivering high-quality activities that meet the needs of our residents.
