Key Responsibilities:

As part of the engineering team, you will deliver comprehensive mechanical and electrical support across the facility. Your duties will encompass both reactive maintenance and proactive improvement initiatives, ensuring optimal performance of our advanced automated cooking and packaging systems.

  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns;
  • Maintain accurate records of all engineering activities;
  • Conduct root cause analyses as necessary;
  • Identify and escalate additional maintenance needs;
  • Propose continuous improvement projects for recurring issues.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Relevant engineering certification;
  • Proven competency in isolation procedures, electrical safety, and safe access to control panels;
  • Experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environments;
  • Proficient in using computer-based maintenance management systems;
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach;
  • Strong commitment to health and safety standards;
  • Ability to disassemble and reassemble machinery, including executing machine size adjustments.

Additional Information:

Shift Pattern:

  • 12-hour shifts, following a 4 on / 4 off schedule;
  • Shifts may vary between 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am.

Salary:

  • £46,920 per annum.
