Job Summary:

RAC is seeking an experienced Financial Director to join our Business Roadside team on a permanent basis. This role will be delivered on a flexible hybrid model of working three days from home and two days at our office.

About the Role:

  • Support and provide flexibility across all Business Roadside areas as priorities require.
  • Understand the Group Strategic Plans & Priorities, and the specific short and medium term targets you are involved in influencing.
  • Inform business leaders and their decision-making through commercial understanding of the business area you support.
  • Support the business area in developing annual budgets and forecasting.
  • Effective and efficient accounting, producing timely and accurate numbers.
  • Support the provision of effective financial insight, analysis and challenge.
  • Deliver success through building and maintaining effective relationships and partnering disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Part Qualified with relevant finance experience.
  • Strong Financial Modelling and Analytical Skills
  • Good understanding of relevant commercial disciplines.
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to assimilate information and make decisions quickly.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge constructively.
