Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our Medical Team at The Children's Trust as a Consultant in Paediatric Neurodisability. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing expert care and support to children with acquired brain injury and neurodisability.

Main Responsibilities

As a Consultant in Paediatric Neurodisability, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality medical care and support to children with acquired brain injury and neurodisability
  • Leading and participating in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for children and their families
  • Conducting regular medical consultations and assessments to monitor children's progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff to ensure they receive the necessary training and support

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Full professional GMC registration and licence to practice
  • CCT in Paediatric Neurodisability, Community Paediatrics, or General Paediatrics, or be within 6 months of achieving this at the time of interview
  • MRCPCH or equivalent
  • Excellent clinical skills, combined with excellent child and family-focused interpersonal skills
  • A caring, supportive, and can-do approach
