Workforce Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Team Leader to join our team. As a Test Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a small team of specialized test technicians in testing and repairing complex electronic products.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of 8 direct reports and ensure they have the necessary resources and support to achieve their objectives.
- Act as a technical lead on specific projects and allocate resources accordingly.
- Forecast resource and capability requirements for projects and liaise with key stakeholders.
- Plan, schedule, and deliver multiple concurrent projects in line with business imperatives.
- Provide input into proposals, manage stakeholder requirements, and resolve issues in line with business plans.
- Lead and deliver test activities following instructions and processes to ensure technology is delivered effectively and efficiently.
- Supervise and support test technicians in their work.
- Use standard bench top test equipment and fault find electronic circuits and assemblies to component level.
- Previous experience leading a team of technicians.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Team work driven and able to cope with tight deadlines under pressure.
- General understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Highly motivated with a hunger to learn new processes.
- Demonstrates a collaborative approach by sharing accurate and meaningful information and ideas openly with others.
- Develops positive working relationships by being open about their work and involving others where possible.
- Seeks feedback from key stakeholders to better understand how well delivering against expectations.
