**Workshop Manager**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Manager to join our team at McElroy Resourcing. As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our workshop.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage work allocation to the workshop team to ensure efficient use of resources and meet production targets.
- Monitor team performance and productivity levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Produce regular KPI reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
- Handle customer repair work, ensuring high-quality service and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor stock levels and report on any shortages or discrepancies.
- Attend workshop meetings and provide updates on job status and progress.
- Ensure the team works within company health and safety guidelines and policies.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards work, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Previous experience working within an engineering or production environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
