Join Our Team as a European Policy Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated European Policy Associate to join our team at PSR Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our international regulatory agenda and enhancing our capacity to meet our statutory and strategic objectives.

About the Role

The European Policy Associate will be responsible for providing analysis and strategic advice on EU financial services policy developments, with a particular focus on sustainable finance. You will work closely with our policy teams to produce high-quality reporting and communications products for internal stakeholders.

You will also support the Lead Associate in the analysis of political developments in EU institutions and across Europe, analyzing and communicating how these changes will impact the UK's regulatory environment.

Additionally, you will work with the team to implement engagement plans, including planning and executing senior-level European visits, and working closely with colleagues across the FCA to ensure a coordinated and considered approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analysis and strategic advice on EU financial services policy developments, with a focus on sustainable finance.
  • Support the Lead Associate in the analysis of political developments in EU institutions and across Europe.
  • Work with the team to implement engagement plans, including planning and executing senior-level European visits.
  • Contribute to work in sustainable finance policy and work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Prior experience of European and/or international relations, policy making, and regulation.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, make judgments, and proposals to build a long-term plan.
  • Ability to identify and manage key stakeholders, building rapport and constructive relationships.
  • Clear understanding and articulation of the FCA's functions and objectives within the UK financial regulatory framework.
