Role Responsibilities

As a UXO Consulting Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Geoconsulting team, focusing on the Europe and Africa regions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive regional assessments to evaluate UXO risk levels associated with offshore wind projects.
  • Providing expert advice on UXO risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborating with various internal teams and external stakeholders to devise optimal technical solutions for UXO surveys in marine environments.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • A degree or Master's degree in relevant fields such as History, Archaeology, Explosive Engineering, Earth Sciences, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in UXO consulting.
  • Chartership or active pursuit of chartership through recognized professional bodies to support ALARP assessments.
  • A willingness to travel internationally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and a passion for driving improvements through innovative approaches.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster influential relationships.
  • A results-oriented mindset.
