Role Responsibilities
As a UXO Consulting Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Geoconsulting team, focusing on the Europe and Africa regions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive regional assessments to evaluate UXO risk levels associated with offshore wind projects.
- Providing expert advice on UXO risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborating with various internal teams and external stakeholders to devise optimal technical solutions for UXO surveys in marine environments.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- A degree or Master's degree in relevant fields such as History, Archaeology, Explosive Engineering, Earth Sciences, or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Proven experience in UXO consulting.
- Chartership or active pursuit of chartership through recognized professional bodies to support ALARP assessments.
- A willingness to travel internationally.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A commitment to continuous learning and a passion for driving improvements through innovative approaches.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster influential relationships.
- A results-oriented mindset.
