The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and autism.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with teachers to create and deliver engaging activities that cater to the needs of students with PMLD and autism
* Develop and implement individualized education and behavior plans to support students
* Work closely with teachers, other support staff, families, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support
* Establish therapeutic relationships with students and adapt to their individual needs

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with students with SEN or a strong desire to work in this field
* Good knowledge of SEN and a passion for developing skills
* Ability to manage challenging behavior
* Commitment to working fixed days, full or part-time
* Valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
* Relevant training to support students with learning difficulties
