POSITION OVERVIEW

We are actively seeking a Capital Programme Management Specialist to support our Capital team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the effective execution of our capital initiatives by implementing and maintaining essential governance controls throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include providing assurance that programmes meet their objectives on schedule, facilitated by high-quality governance groups and reporting mechanisms. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting, quality assurance, financial oversight, risk and issue management, change control, and benefits tracking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your primary duties will encompass:

Leading the comprehensive reporting and analysis of a key programme within our Capital Delivery & Commercial portfolio. Advocating for the application of reporting and analytical techniques to ensure a consistent, data-driven approach to Project and Programme Management. Upholding data integrity to enhance stakeholder confidence in our reporting outputs. Acting as a supportive partner to Design, Delivery, and Commercial stakeholders in evaluating the health and feasibility of the programme and its commitments. Presenting critical programme insights to senior management and portfolio boards. Assisting the programme in identifying and mitigating significant risks while recognizing and leveraging opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

The ideal candidate will possess experience in a programme management setting, with a solid grasp of project controls, including financial, risk, and benefits management.

Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is essential, and familiarity with tools such as Primavera P and MSP would be advantageous, though not mandatory.
