About the Role

DivalentineCalver Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Pricing and Trade Analyst to join our team. As a Pricing and Trade Analyst, you will play a key role in implementing and communicating trade policy and objectives through day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Trade Policy Implementation: Coordinate and manage Europe Export Vessel Space Management in line with trade policy and objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Act as a marketing pricing focal point for designated regions, demonstrating a sound awareness of regional commodities and markets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Perform regular structural review of regions' performance against target levels and follow up on any performance deviations.
  • Rate Requests: Respond to rate requests in a timely fashion, analyzing and judging business contribution in the context of current and prospective market conditions.
  • Tender Submissions: Complete timely and accurate tender submissions, demonstrating commercial awareness and sound pricing.
  • KPI Reporting: Complete regular KPI reports and follow up on any deviations.
  • Trade Management: Support the European Space management process and be fully proficient with all Trade Management OPUS Modules.
  • Team Representation: Represent the marketing team at internal and external meetings.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in marketing and pricing within the liner shipping industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data.
  • Education: Relevant education and qualifications.
