The Advice and Response Service offers comprehensive, trauma-informed assistance to students who have faced any form of gender-based violence, harassment, or discrimination. Our dedicated team consists of expert caseworkers who provide confidential, practical, and emotional support tailored to the needs of students. We are looking to appoint a subject matter expert to oversee the management of Advice and Response casework in this critical area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the Advice and Response team to ensure the provision of high-quality management and responses to safeguarding incidents, gender-based violence, and hate-related issues, along with delivering specialized support and guidance for students and staff.
  • As a leader within Professional Services (PS), foster a culture of exceptional service delivery and ongoing enhancement, prioritizing the student experience in all initiatives, while supporting a cohesive PS team that operates flexibly across organizational boundaries.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Campus Life, Head of Advice and Response, and other senior leaders to cultivate and sustain effective partnerships with colleagues, students, and relevant stakeholders, facilitating the achievement of the University's strategic goals regarding the delivery of a top-tier Advice and Response Service and enhancing the overall student experience.
