We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Operations Engineer to join our team at Hain Daniels Group. As a key member of our operational team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our production assets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement action plans to address root cause failures and ensure optimum production asset availability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Attend to breakdowns promptly and ensure all work orders and planned maintenance tasks are completed.
- Deliver training and support to operators to enable them to undertake minor maintenance tasks.
- Work with departmental leaders and other stakeholders to promote a culture of pride and ownership in the work areas, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and safe.
- Promote teamwork across all functions, including production, technical, and new product development.
- Support all aspects of the operation to ensure products are manufactured in a safe, hygienic, and efficient manner.
- Ensure individual accountability for best practices and ongoing skill development.
- Perform other duties as reasonably requested by lead engineers, production managers, or other site management team members.
- Relevant engineering qualifications, such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with a strong focus on health and safety.
- Experience in FMCG operations, with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- PLC fault finding and diagnostics, as well as a strong health and safety ethic and HACCP knowledge.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently with a positive can-do attitude.
